Fishing Rodeo

Today was the annual Cub Scout Fishing Rodeo. We took the boys for the afternoon. What a hot one. We loaded up the poles and the "Easy-Up" for shade, grabbed a few minnows and headed out to Isaac Walton League for a fun-filled day of catch-and-release fun. The boys all caught lots of fish. Big Boy brought in a 11 1/2" large mouth bass. Little Brat reeled in a 12" large mouth bass. But Eeyore won the largest fish trophy by a "nose" since he caught the only Pike in the group. It was longer than anything caught the whole day.

Little Brat's bass. At one point Little Brat pointed out that he thought his minnow must have been praying because I saw his mouth moving right before I put him on the hook. I thought that was definately appropriate at a church event.
