The Golf Cart Excursion

This little guy was very nervous. He did come up to the cart to eat but only from the ground. He was a young buck. Very pretty and clean. He's pretty majestic standing here in the side of someone's yard.

We found a fishing and crabbing pier near the Cabana Club where we went swimming. We walked out and found a bedding area for thousands of Fiddler Crabs. You can see their little shells in the grass. This photo really doesn't do the numbers justice. It's funny when you start walking towards them they scatter in all directions.

Big Boy stands far out on the pier. When we got there a very nice man fishing decided to allow the boys to pull up his crab baskets. He really hadn't been catching anything all day and thought they might enjoy catching some shells.

The boys managed to pull in three hermit crabs. Two large and one small. This one is "Crabby" and belongs to Little Brat. Eeyore found one that was covered in moss and named him "Coconut". Big Boy's guy is "Spikey" because of his big spikes on his shell.

Little brat was so sad because his was the smallest and he almost named him "chicken" because when you turn him over he looks like a drumstick. I told him those are the best Hermit Crabs of all. They didn't come from a store. You caught them yourself in the ocean. You can tell all your friends how special they are. That helped.
